Yes, that’s correct, I am still alive and well in Bangkok. Sorry if some of you are disappointed to hear the news. I can only say that the past year has been quite an educational experience for me. I have come to terms with things and have overcome something of a funk and plan on coming back (not necessarily with a vengeance, why get greedy). Those of you who are still with me will be glad to know that I will be posting more regularly to amuse and excite, surprise and shock, and possibly even to anger and enrage.
You can now get an inside look at what life is like for a poor Bangkok expat, his wife and daughter…if that interests you. I am also hoping (no promises) to finally put my camera to better use and include more photos here. Plan on reading a more diverse cross section of goings on in Bangkok, opinions and rants regarding all things Thai, and even some light hearted banter. I have taken myself far too seriously in the past and that needs to be rectified.
I know this is a short post, but I am extremely busy as we are moving on Saturday. Packing and trips back and forth have been the norm, but by Saturday evening I will be able to relax once again and Sunday will see me adding content ready to go live Monday. I hope you all have a joyful weekend and I look forward to reconnecting with all of you come Monday morning!
